Because Caution for Kids is a community-based initiative, we will be creating the Caution Guard Ambassadors. This program will be created for all high schoolers in the Clermont County area and will serve as our marketing ambassadors for the program.
Clermont County area high schoolers will have an opportunity to apply and be accepted into the Caution Guard Ambassador program and will work with the program board and staff throughout the year. CGAs will have the opportunity to serve on Caution for Kids programs and help to lead on our annual fundraising programs for the year, as well as our outreach efforts, which will include serving as ‘Phoebee’ the Safety Bee and volunteering with our safety puppet shows in order to get the word out about the annual safety town events. Program participants will receive a neon orange Caution for Kids ‘Caution Guard Ambassador’ shirt as well as a neon yellow safety vest which they will be able to wear in the community to get the word out about our organization.
During the weeks of Safety Towns, our Caution Guard Ambassadors will serve as leaders for the program and will lead in training our amazing program volunteers who will work directly with the children throughout the week.
